The Woodward Public Library (WPL) believes in the freedom to read and learn, and the freedom to compare and express ideas. WPL strives to provide educational, cultural, and social enrichment for all residents of the city of Woodward and surrounding areas.

The Woodward Public Library seeks new trustees to serve on the board for a 4 year term.  The meets on the first Monday of every month at 5pm.  As a board member, you should be a member in good standing with your library.  The board is composed of seven members appointed by the Mayor, charged with overseeing the Library services, policies, planning, and expenditures.  Serving on the board requires a person that is proficient in teamwork and possesses knowledge of the community.  The recruit must be willing to contribute time and skills to the advocacy and betterment of the library with the goal of maintaining and improving library services.
